Sharing God's Love to Street Kids in Zambia
Join us in changing the lives of kids and youth who live on the streets of Lusaka, Zambia.
Join us in changing the lives of kids and youth who live on the streets of Lusaka, Zambia.
Our core belief is that the single most important part of what we do is to introduce every street child, youth and young adult to Jesus Christ. We have seen that true change comes from knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. On a weekly basis, members of the local church are feeding, clothing, teaching, loving and caring for kids and youth living in the streets of Lusaka Zambia. God's love is being poured into these kids - giving them dignity, education and opportunities that are bringing them out of the streets.
Our heart for this ministry is based on Matthew 25:34-40. "...I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me... ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ (NLT)"
A little history about street kids in Zambia. For years, these kids were called "Junkies" (and unfortunately still are). Not so much because many of them use street drugs, but because society considered them to be no more valuable than garbage.
Hope is now printed on the chests of hundreds of streets kids in downtown Lusaka - "I'm No Junkie, I am a Child of God". God's message to these kids is that even if the world calls you garbage, God love you, and you are a precious treasure to Him.
Only God can write this story. We praise the Lord everyday for what He is doing in the lives of these kids.
Your generous donations help us reach these kids with God's love and Truth. Join us in making an eternal difference in their lives.
Charitable Donations can be made through our partner, The Great Commission Foundation.
